Ever since I, Tiarra Dorsey, was 2 years old, I modeled down the runway like a pro. I became very interested in fashion shows giving me the opportunity to show my modeling skills in a International Prince & Princess Pageant in 2007 in Connecticut where I won runner up over one hundred contestants.
I was taught these skills at Linda Felder's House of Etiquette. There I learned to walk, talk, dress, sew, and basically how to present myself as a young lady.
After graduating from the program I decided to stick around and help out with the younger children. I enjoyed helping in the modeling sessions because that was my specialty.
Recently I traveled to Europe on a People to People International program and one of the three places I traveled to was Paris, France. All of the skills I’ve learned at the house of etiquette came in handy, for example my table manners, how to speak clearly and correctly.
The Felder House fully affected me because I am now a young lady no longer speaking in slang's or putting my elbows on the table at the dinner table. I am proud to be a Felder House graduate, and most of all a respectful, and a presentable young lady.
